Seminar “Welding in Energy Industry”
On 18-20 February 2009 Lincoln Electric Bester organized seminar dedicated to welding in Energy Industry.
There were over 80 experts from Energy Sector, including suppliers of welding consumables and machines for this sector. Participation of Lincoln Electric welding experts could not be missed: LEB Weldtech Technology Center team, experts from sister company METRODE, UK and guests from University of Technology, Częstochowa.
Scope of subjects covered on seminar included:
- Steels for Energy Sector – development trends,
- General overview of Energy Sector,
- Welding consumables and machines for Energy Sector,
- Boiler structure, basic and auxiliary materials,
- P91 and P92 steels,
- Stainless steel, nickel alloys.
Next to the lectures, guests could participate in welding, cutting and gouging demonstrations.
Seminar was a great opportunity for both guests and Lincoln Electric staff to exchange their views and deepen the expertise.
