Guarantee Conditions
Lincoln Electric Bester Sp.z o.o. (LEBester) offers a guarantee that all the equipment for arc welding and plasma cutting is free from any quality defects caused by the production process and the materials used in the process and for their appropriate operation according to the technical data given in the directions of usage.
The guarantee does not cover any defects detected by LEBester or an Authorized Service Point resulting from a bad connection, incautious use or any usage of the equipment that is not compliant with the directions of usage.
Guarantee period:
LEBester will cover the costs of service and spare parts used to repair any equipment within the period of the guarantee. The guarantee period starts at the moment of purchase of an original product by the first user
Particular guarantee periods are as follows:
3 years
All Lincoln Electric appliances, such as: welding machines, wire feeders and plasma cutters, excluding the ones mentioned below for other periods.
2 years

PowerWave PW345C
Magster and Midimagster, Minimagster
Mag Power
Besterka, STB
Bester140, Bester141+
1 year
Electrodes, welding wires and flux core wires, under condition of proper usage and storage according to the LE usage and storage instructions. (Excludes the welding materials with a 30- day guarantee period)
All the environmental systems together with mobile and central units, sets of handles and cables, equipment. ( Does not cover welding materials with a 30-day guarantee period)
Equipment for plasma cutting and welding, including liquid coolers, wire feeding modules, chassis, equipment for spot installations in separate sales, loose equipment, welding materials, standard sets of equipment, spare parts and Magnum products. (Excludes spare parts and handles/ blowpipes with a 90 or 30-day guarantee period).
90 days
All welding handles, pistols, blowpipes TIG and Plasma, fused wires, other wires, spool grips
30 days
All welding materials which can be used in environmental systems, see above, together with hoses, filtres, straps and hose couplers.
Combustion engines, gas burners, reducers
All combustion engines with equipment, all gas burners and gas reducers as delivered by the manufacturer of engines, burners and reducers feature the producer’s guarantee and thus, are not covered by the above guarantee.
Quick-wear parts
LEBester cannot be held responsible for the exchange of any spare parts that suffer normal wear and tear, such as safety-cocks, bulbs, feeding rolls, parts of welding handles, plasma burners, gas burners.
Quarantee conditions
In order to make a complaint:
The purchaser must inform the Lincoln Authorized Service Point about the acclaimed defect that is covered by the above guarantee. The list of services can be found here: www.bester.pl.
The final decision regarding accepting complaints about welding or cutting equipment rests with LEBester or Lincoln Authorized Service Point competence. The decision about accepting a claim for electrodes or flux core wires rests exclusively with LEBester company.
Repairs under guarantee
If LEBester or a Lincoln Authorized Service Point confirm the presence of a defect which is covered by the above guarantee, it will be repaired or the part will be exchanged.
On request by LEBester, the purchaser is required to return to Lincoln company or to the Authorized Service Point each and any faulty component or its subassembly covered by the above guarantee.
Transportation costs:
LEBester will cover the costs of transport or the service visit to the client (to and from) only if the presence of a faulty component is confirmed and that is concerns exclusively the equipment used in the country of Poland. In other countries local conditions apply.
LEBester will cover the costs of each delivery of any faulty subassemblies from the Lincoln Authorized Service Point to LEBester company.
As for electrodes and flux core wires, LEBester will cover the costs of shipment to the customer.
Limitations of Guarantee Responsibility:
LEBester cannot be held responsible for any repairs executed in other services than Lincoln Authorized Service Point.
The guarantee is voided if it is deemed that insufficient action was taken to prevent damage or destruction during the transportation or storage, entering of liquid or foreign bodies, electric discharges and overvoltages in power supply network, natural disasters and military actions.
According to the above guarantee the responsibility of LEBester is limited to the costs of the repair of a defect occured in the Lincoln product.
LEBester cannot be held responsible for consequential losses (e.g. loss of business, etc.) caused by a defect or for the time taken to correct the defect.
